Official 2022 Uggs Style Guide
By: Ava Levinson
Like most things Y2K, Uggs are officially back in style. That means it’s time to dig into the depths of the fashion trend graveyard in the back of your closet and break out your pair from circa 2014.
As an avid fan of the trend back in middle school, I am greatly in support of this “ugly” shoe resurgence. After all, is there anything better than wearing socially-acceptable slippers when running from class-to-class?
Can’t decide whether you love or hate this trend? Well, consider this your official 2022 Ugg guide. Here are five of our favorite styles and where to purchase them.
Supermodel Bella Hadid would definitely agree with us on this one. She recently put her own spin on this fashion revival when she headed out in a pair of chestnut brown Ugg platforms (pictured above). She paired hers with a leather moto jacket and tiny shorts to show off her unique personal taste.
You can’t go wrong with this timeless style. Ugg ultra minis are the ultimate on-the-go shoe. The black suede will go with anything and everything and will conceal any unwanted signs of wear.
With this boot, you get two styles in one. Keep them buttoned up when you’re in need of some extra warmth on chilly days. In warmer weather, unbutton the clasp and fold down the top for a more casual, laid-back look.
A stylish take on a classic slipper. The Ugg Tazz suede platform slippers in “chestnut” are the perfect combination of style and comfort because you shouldn’t have to compromise one for the other.
This style is the epitome of holiday spirit. Everything from the color to the bow closure makes this shoe ideal for decorating the Christmas tree, baking cookies, lounging by the fireplace, and all other festivities.
We’ve got a long, brutal New England winter ahead of us. While it may be daunting to think of it this way, there are measures you can take to ensure you stay toasty and trendy in the coming months. Get yourself a pair of Uggs while you can to stay ahead of both the weather and fashion forecasts.
