1. Taberna de Haro
Located at 999 Beacon St, this restaurant is within walking distance of Boston University’s Charles River Campus. This restaurant features authentic Spanish cuisine, and the majority of their menu is tapa-styled. They also have an extensive wine book with over 100 bottles of wine. The restaurant is very cozy and is the perfect spot for a candle-lit dinner.
2. Lucia's Ristorante
With Valentine’s Day, you can never go wrong with a romantic trip to the North End. Lucia’s Ristorante can be found at 415 Hanover St. Lucia’s Ristorante is known for its amazing pasta entrees. It’s a “hidden gem” in the North End, and they get into the spirit of this holiday by hanging up paper hearts on their walls. Their ceiling is a painted mural of Rome, Italy, so it’s the perfect restaurant to feel a little getaway.
3. Saltie Girl
No list of restaurants in Boston would be complete without a trendier restaurant, and tribute to Newbury Street. Saltie Girl is located at 279 Dartmouth St. In 2021 Saltie Girl was named as the best neighborhood restaurant in Back Bay. This is definitely a safe option for a great meal. Saltie Girl is a seafood restaurant, and Oysters are one of the most famous aprodesiacs. So, Seas the Holiday at Saltie Girl!
4. Clink
This restaurant is very unique, for anyone who wants to go somewhere different and spontaneous for this Valentine’s Day. Clink is located at the Liberty Hotel, 215 Charles St. Because the Liberty Hotel used to be a jail, this option may be suitable for any Anti-Valentine Day’s people due to the unique setting. This restaurant has modern American cuisine. They will make Valentine’s Day special with their 4-course, prix fixed menu.
5. Lookout Rooftop and Bar
The last restaurant I would like to give spotlight to is Lookout Rooftop and Bar. This restaurant is in Boston’s seaport district, at 70 Sleeper St. This restaurant would be perfect for a Valentine’s Day couple who loves the snow. This is because you can rent one of their Igloos, making this dining experience very special and romantic. The view is also amazing.
